A Supernatural Encounter

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” – 2 Corinthians 3:18

One of the most amazing transformations in the Bible happened when Saul — former persecutor of Christians — encountered God on the road to Damascus (see Acts 9). After his encounter, he was so radically changed from the inside out that even his name was changed to Paul. He began preaching the gospel, and eventually, went on to write much of the New Testament.

When you have a supernatural encounter with Almighty God, something is going to happen. Something is going to be transformed inside of you and radiate out into every part of your being, affecting every part of your life!

Today, I want to encourage you to prepare your heart to expect God’s supernatural touch in your life. Open the eyes of your heart to Him. I pray that you experience God in such a way that every bondage is broken off of your life, and you are forever changed by a supernatural encounter with Him!

A Place of Abundance

“…We went through fire and water, but You brought us to a place of abundance” – Psalm 66:12.

Everyone has times in life when they feel like they are going through the fire, so to speak, or they feel overwhelmed with everyday life. If that’s you today, understand that God is going to bring you through those challenges. He’s going to bring you through the fire and the flood into a place of abundance and victory! We serve a God of more than enough, and His desire is to always make sure you have whatever you need to be successful and victorious in every area of your life.

Remember, John 10 says that Jesus came so that we can have life—abundant life! He wants you to have an abundance of resources, an abundance of wisdom, an abundance of peace—everything you need. Open your heart and thank Him for His goodness. Begin to receive His promises by faith. Let your praise open the door for Him to move on your behalf so He can take you to a place of abundance in every area of your life!

By his Divine Power

“By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence” – 2 Peter 1:3

Whether you realize it or not, God has already given you everything you need to live the life He’s called you to. You don’t need to feel stressed out, worried or afraid. You don’t have to wonder if you’re “good enough” to receive from God because God’s blessing has nothing to do with your performance. He has already blessed you and given you everything you need by His divine power!

The world’s system tells us to strive, toil and scrape to get what we want. Our culture puts limits on people because of their natural abilities, resources, background or circumstances. But with God, there are no limits! By His divine power, you are equipped, well able and strong. You are covered by His grace and mercy, and you are empowered to do all He has called you to do!

The next time you start thinking “I can’t…” or “I don’t have what it takes…,” attack those negative thoughts with the truth by declaring, “I have what it takes; I am well able; and I am equipped by His divine power at work in me!”

Press Towards the Promise

“…Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised” – Hebrews 6:12

Are you facing a challenge today that seems overwhelming? Through faith and patience, you will see God’s promises come to pass in your life.

Understand that the enemy always fights the hardest when he knows you are closest to your breakthrough. He’d leave you alone if he thought you were going to live in mediocrity. If you keep pressing on toward your promise, through faith and patience, you will get there. Don’t be like the Israelites in the Old Testament who were right next to their promised land when they talked themselves out of it! They said, “There are giants in the land. It’s too difficult.” No, today, don’t look at the obstacles in your life. Lift up your eyes because you serve a supernatural God! Follow the example of Abraham who believed God even when his circumstances looked impossible.

Remember, God always rewards the people who seek after Him. Stand in faith and keep believing because God will take you places that you never dreamed. Keep pressing toward the promise so you can live in the supernatural victory He has prepared for you!

Our Real Provider

All mankind is searching for ideal conditions in a world that is anything but ideal. Many people think the world owes them a living. If that is true, who is going to pay off this indebtedness? Everything that you receive free, somebody had to work to pay for.

I am convinced that a peace built upon promises of keeping people free from want is precarious. We can try, but populations are increasing at astounding rates. There are more hungry people today than ever before. There are more diseased people than ever before.

I know of only one Ruler who can supply our needs. The Bible says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). That promise is made to the people of God. He can give us perfect contentment. The Scripture says He will supply all of our needs “according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). The believer has a right to call upon the inexhaustible supply of God to meet his needs.
