Open the Door to Blessing

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might…” – Ecclesiastes 9:10.

Did you know that when you do something to the best of your ability because you want to honor God, it opens the door to His blessing? That means it will be easier, it will go better, and you will accomplish more. That’s why no matter what we do, we should give it our best. This is especially true even in the little things.

For example, when you’re doing the dishes or helping the needy, don’t drag around sour and frustrated. Do it with enthusiasm! Do it like you’re on a mission from God. With every step, thank God that your legs work. Thank Him that you’re healthy and strong. At the office, don’t just do enough to get by. You’re not working unto people, you’re working unto God. Do it with your whole heart. When you volunteer at church, don’t wake up and think, “Awe, man. Why did I volunteer? I want to sleep in!” No, serve Him with all your heart because that’s what honors God. When you honor God, He’ll honor you. He’ll give you His life, peace, health and blessing now and forevermore!

Blessing in Sleep

“It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning till late at night, anxiously working for food to eat, for God gives rest to his loved ones”. Psalms 127:2

The Lord longs to pour out blessings on you constantly, even when you sleep. Many people struggle today with sleeping at night; they stay awake or get poor sleep because they constantly focus on their problems and worrying about tomorrow. But that’s not what God has planned for you; he wants you to enjoy your sleep as a time of blessing and refreshing.

Understand that God has his hand on your life even in the midnight hour; he wants to speak to your heart and restore your dreams. He is taking care of those times that concern you. When you cast your cares on him and trust him to work out every detail of your life, you will be able to enjoy that sweet sleep that he has promised. Make the decision today to enjoy the blessings of the Lord, as you sleep tonight, make a small prayer before you go to bed and cast your burden on Him. As you allow the Lord to bless and refresh you in sleep, you will see a tremendous change in your waking hours. You will be more invigorated, more alert, and more prepared to receive what the Lord has prepared for you the following day.

New Seasons of God’s Blessings

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”- II Corinthians 5:17

Every person has had negative things spoken over them in the past. Maybe someone told you that you don’t have what it takes or that you’re not going to be successful. It’s almost like they cursed your future. But the good news is that the blessing of God is greater than any curse. If you’ll get rid of those negative strongholds and choose to believe what God says about you in His Word, you will begin to see a turning point in your life.

Today, declare blessing over yourself — that you are strong and courageous. You are full of talent, creativity, and wisdom. You can accomplish your God-given dreams. You walk in divine health. You have favor with every person you meet. Everything you touch is going to prosper and succeed. Those seeds of greatness on the inside of you are growing stronger and stronger. That hidden treasure is about to burst forth and you’re going to come in to new seasons of increase, new seasons of favor, new seasons of God’s blessings! You are who God says you are. You have what God says you have. And I declare you can do everything God says you can do, in Jesus’ name, amen!

He Rejoices Over Me

“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing” – Zephaniah 3:17

So many people in this day and age never received the blessing from their mother or father. They never felt like they received the approval and encouragement they so deeply desired. If that’s you today, the good news is that when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you become His child. Your earthly father may not have given you his blessing, but your heavenly Father is rejoicing over you! He’s saying, “I’m proud of you. I love you. You are amazing. You are talented. You are beautiful. You’re going to do great things in life!” He’s releasing favor and hope into your future.

Today, no matter what’s happened in your past, no matter what anybody else has said to you or about you, know that your Father God loves you with an everlasting love. He’s proud of you, and He is singing over you. Receive His love today. Receive His approval today. Receive hope today. Have confidence and strength to move forward because you have the blessing of your heavenly Father!

Speaking the Blessing

“The tongue has the power of life and death…” – Proverbs 18:21

Have you thought about the people in your life who need your blessing? They need your approval. They need to hear you say, “I’m proud of you. You’re going to do great things.” That’s speaking the blessing. That’s releasing favor into their future. When you say to the people you love, “I’m so glad you’re in my life. You mean the world to me,” you just gave them the blessing. When you tell one of your employees, coworkers or a student, “You amaze me with your ability. You have such a bright future,” those are not just nice compliments. When you speak the blessing, you’re releasing God’s wisdom, protection, favor and abundance into their future. You can literally help shape their destiny. One word of encouragement, one word of approval can be what helps them to really step up to who God created them to be.

Today, choose to speak the blessing. Sow good seeds into the lives of the people you love. Remember, what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. As you sow the blessing, you’ll reap the blessing and experience His victory and favor all the days of your life!
