Prosper in All you Do

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper” – Psalms 1:3

Large trees represent power, majesty and stability. Have you ever noticed the difference between a tree planted by the water and a tree far away from water? The tree next to the water is much more healthy and vibrant. Its fruit and blossoms are the most beautiful.

In the same way, when you are “planted” in the Word of God, your spirit is fed and you grow strong just like the tree by the water. You’ll bring forth fruit at the proper season. In other words, you’ll be in the right place and the right time. You’ll be productive and fruitful. And notice the end of today’s verse. It says that whatever you do will prosper! Do you want to prosper in your relationships? Seek God’s Word regarding relationships. Do you want to prosper in your health? Seek God’s Word about healing. Do you want to prosper in your finances? Seek God’s Word regarding finances. Make sure your heart and mind are planted in the Word of God. Let Him illuminate your heart with truth. Let Him wash over you with His promises. Seek Him, trust Him and obey Him, and everything you do will prosper!

Thriving Not Surviving

You’re not a survivor. You are more than a conqueror.

It’s easy to get into a survival mode. When times get tough and things aren’t going our way, it’s tempting to just settle where we are, not believe for increase and not believe to go any further. It’s tempting to think, “If I can just hold on. If I can just make it through another year.” If we’re not careful, we’ll develop a survival mentality to where we’re not releasing our faith. We’re not believing to rise any higher. We’re just hoping to maintain. We’d be satisfied if we could just break even. But we’re not supposed to break even. We’re supposed to break through to a new level, to more of God’s favor, increase and promotion.

God says in the book of Jeremiah that if we’ll keep the Lord as our trust and confidence, God will prosper us even in the desert. He’ll prosper us even in difficult times. That means when others are going under God says you’ll go over!

God can prosper us even in the desert if we’ll just be bold enough to believe. You were created to thrive in life! Won’t you believe that for your life today?

Whatever you do will Prosper

“He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers” – Psalm 1:3

God’s plan is for you to prosper and be successful in every area of your life. Some people might say, “I don’t see how you can say that with the economy like it is. All the experts are saying it’s going to get worse before it gets better.” That may be true in general, but it doesn’t have to be true for believers in Christ. We are connected to a supply line that will never run dry. Don’t be talked in to having a bad year. The economy is not your source. God is your source. And God wants to bless you beyond your salary. He wants to bless you beyond your normal income. He likes to do unusual things. He can bless you with what I call an explosive blessing! That means, all of the sudden, unexpectedly, something happens that takes you to a new level. Old limitations are broken, and suddenly, you find yourself further than you ever dreamed!

The key is found in Psalm 1:1–2. We have to separate ourselves from the system of the world and set our heart and mind on the Word of God. When you meditate on His promises and follow His commands, you will experience these explosive blessings. When you put Him first, you will be strong and stable, and whatever you do will prosper!
