Trust God’s plan

Trust God’s Plan

Finding God’s will isn’t a one-time event.

As we progress through spiritual and physical changes, as times and circumstances change, it’s necessary to reevaluate our lives or aspects of them, to make sure that we’re up to date with God’s plan.

Finding God’s will is a regular occurrence for a Christian.

Trust Over Fear

“Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe”- Proverbs 29:25

Fear is one of the enemy’s favourite tools to keep us from going forward in our lives. As soon as we make a decision to step out in faith and do what God is telling us to do, immediately the enemy will bring fear. He’ll put thoughts in your mind like, “What if I fail? What will others think? Maybe I don’t have what it takes.” He’ll do his best to use fear to try to convince you to shrink back and just stay right where you are.

The Bible tells us that fear is a spirit. It affects your emotions. But when you choose to put your trust in the Lord, no matter how you are feeling, you are combating fear.

Today, I encourage you, don’t allow fear to trap you and hold you back. Instead, take a step of faith knowing that God is on your side. He is for you and with you, leading and guiding you in the path of victory all the days of your life!

Trust in God

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding’ – Proverbs 3:5

On a certain evening, after a tiring day, man asked God “God, can I ask you a question?”, “Sure”. Man requested “Promise You won’t get mad”, God promised. Man said “Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?”, God asked “What do u mean?”.

Man started to explain “Well, I woke up late, and then my car took forever to start, at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait, On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call and on top of it all when I got home, I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn’t work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?”

God smiled and replied to man “Well let me explain, in the morning, the death angel was at your bed & I had to send one of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that. I didn’t let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road. The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn’t want you to catch what he had, I knew you couldn’t afford to miss work. Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn’t even let you talk to them so you would be covered. Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage circuit that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark”

The man was very ashamed of himself and asked forgiveness to God and God in a polite tone answered to man “Don’t be sorry, just learn to Trust Me…. in All things, the Good & the bad. And don’t doubt, my plan for your day is Always Better than your plan”.

Do you trust God and let Him do His will in your life? Believe Him for you would be in safe hands.

This One Thing

“…I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead” – Philippians 3:13

Are you determined to forget the past? I know many people don’t fully understand what that means. They wonder, “How can I forget something that’s happened to me?” But one definition of the word forget is to disregard intentionally or to overlook. In other words, you have to choose to disregard your past so that it doesn’t hold you back. That means the good and the bad. Sometimes our past victories keep us from rising higher as much as our past failures can. If we don’t let go of the old, we’ll never be able to embrace the new.

It doesn’t matter what’s happened in your past, it’s time to forget what lies behind and make the choice to look forward. Trust that God has a better future in store for you. Trust that He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Trust that He who promised is faithful — as you forget what lies behind and press forward, you’ll experience His power and blessing in a fresh, new way

The Secret

One day, one friend asked another, “How is it that you are always so happy?
You have so much energy, and you never seem to get down.”

With her eyes smiling, she said, “I know the Secret!”
“What secret is that?” To which she replied,
“I’ll tell you all about it, but you have to promise to share the Secret
with others.”

“The Secret is this: I have learned there is little I can do in my life
that will make me truly happy.
I must depend on God to make me happy and to meet my needs.
When a need arises in my life, I have to trust God to supply according to
HIS riches.
I have learned most of the time I don’t need half of what I think I do.
He has never let me down. Since I learned that ‘Secret’, I am happy.”

The questioner’s first thought was, “That’s too simple!”
But upon reflecting over her own life she recalled how she thought a bigger
house would make her happy, but it didn’t!
She thought a better paying job would make her happy, but it hadn’t.
When did she realize her greatest happiness?
Sitting on the floor with her grandchildren, playing games, eating pizza or
reading a story, a simple gift from God.

Now you know it too! We can’t depend on people to make us happy.
Only GOD in His infinite wisdom can do that. Trust HIM!
And now I pass the Secret on to you! So once you get it, what will you do?

YOU have to tell someone the Secret, too! That GOD in His wisdom will take
care of YOU!
But it’s not really a secret …
We just have to believe it and do it …
Really trust God!
